The Green Monster, a 24' high metal green wall in left field went up on Saturday at Fenway Park at the Ripken Youth Academy! In time for the World Series, the Monster is the latest step in theming the park. Additionally, Wrigley, Memorial and Cal, Sr.'s Yard have begun to resemble their Major League parks.
Besides being used for the World Series, the Monster will be in play during tournament play at the Academy in 2007.
